Barracudas Swim Club Barracudas Swim Club is widely recoginized as one of the top swim clubs in Trinidad and Tobago. We cater to those with special needs.

Barracudas (Formerly Petrotrin Barracudas) is a high performing swim program which focuses on the development of swimmers, from beginner levels to Competitive swimmers. We are conveniently located at the Petrotrin Golf Club in Pointe-a-Pierre. We offer lessons for kids and adults at all levels from beginners, advanced, pre-competitive and competitive. Aqua aerobics is also available for adults.

A first for Trinidad 🇹🇹

Barracudas Swim Club is launching women & girls ONLY swim classes — created with privacy, respect, and comfort at the forefront.

We heard the need from our Muslim families for a safe space with female instructors, no males on deck, and modest swimwear welcomed. And now it’s here. For every woman and girl 8+ who wants to learn and build confidence in the water.

ASATT 2026 Short Course Championships

What an incredible meet for Team Barracudas!

Congratulations to all our swimmers on an exceptional championship, with every swimmer achieving multiples Personal Bests (PB). Your hard work and determination helped us finish 5th overall which is a true reflection of your commitment and dedication.

Barracudas showed up strong on Sunday, turning out in numbers for the National Aquathlon Event hosted by .
For many, it was their first experience swimming open water and moreso combining open water swimming and running but they rose to the challenge, pushed through, and delivered on the assignment. Here’s some highlights.

Big, Big, Big, anouncement in the South land. Calling all aspiring swim parents, can your child swim 25 meters Backstroke and Freestyle? Have they out grown their current learn to swim program? Would you like to see them be part of the best known swim club south of the Caroni? Well this is your chance to do just that. This Saturday 11th April at 12 noon come on down to Barracudas Swim Club, we are conveniently located at the Pointe-a-Pierre Golf Club Limited. Come meet our experienced coaching staff who will be available for our pre-competitive team tryouts.
