ABOUT KANAZAWA SHOTOKAN KARATE-DO INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION
The Kanazawa Shotokan Karate-do International Federation (KSKIF) is a traditional Shotokan Karate-do organization based in TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO and we are a member the Shotokan Karate-do International Federation (SKIF) that has their Headquarters in Japan. Currently SKIF is the largest Shotokan Organization in the world with over 100 count
ries affiliated to them and over 5 million members world wide. KSKIF is headed by a group of qualified Instructors all of whom has trained under Kancho Hirokazu Kanazawa, the President of SKIF and Hanshi Hiroshi Ishikawa, the President of SKIF Pan American Region. Together the Instructors of KSKIF have a rich and diverse wealth of experience that spans over 165 years. It is KSKIF vision to promote karate-do as a form of budo that can enhance the lives of its members so as to improve their quality of life both mentally and physically. It is our sincere hope that our organization can be a leader in teaching Traditional Shotokan Karate-do in Trinidad and Tobago, striving to maintain the vision of Kancho Hirokazu Kanazawa, SKIF and the precepts of the SKIF DOJO KUN (school pledge). KSKIF affairs are run by a General Executive Committee which comprises of all senior Instructors. They are as follows:
