Bernik Ensemble Dance Studio Bernik Ensemble is committed to promoting self confidence and self awareness through creative dance, kinetic movements and education.

In celebration of ambition, excellence and the beauty of motion, Bernik Ensemble was founded by Nikola Abrams-Sampson in honor of her mother, the late, Bernadette Abrams. whose vision for compassion and serving left an indelible impression on Nikola's life. Primarily through creative dance expression, Bernik Ensemble empowers participants to discover, recognize, appreciate and express the light within themselves, while building wholesome community anchored in creative expression.

Learning to Manage the New Normal, Second Edition - Managing Anxiety through Self Care. Group therapy addressing anxiety and practical exercises in grounding one self. Use of breath and bringing awareness to the body. Breath is not only for biological gains but brings us back to our bodies, away from mental clutter. It gives us a chance to pause and reconnect with ourselves. 🙏🏾

BE Still... How about pausing now for a moment; slowly take a deep breath through the nose, hold for a count or 3 then slowly exhale through the mouth. Repeat 4 more times. ❤️ You just gave yourself a beautiful gift.

The day culminated with a teen spa, that our 30 participants thoroughly enjoyed. Some students also had individual therapy. BE the change you want to see 🥰🙌🏾❤️ BE - more than a dance company, a safe space and environment of wellness. 🥰🙌🏾
