🏐 TRIANGLE PEPPER: SQUARE UP BEFORE CONTACT!

During my visit to Burundi 🇧🇮, I had the opportunity to train with young Burundian beach volleyball players, sharing my experience and helping them develop their fundamental skills.

One of our training sessions focused on Triangle Pepper, a simple but highly effective drill for improving footwork, body positioning, ball control, and accuracy.

One of the most important fundamentals in beach volleyball is proper body positioning before ball contact.

In this drill, we emphasize a simple but essential technique: Get your body squared up and aligned with your target BEFORE contacting the ball!

🎯 Key Coaching Points:

✅ Move your feet early to get into position.

✅ Square your shoulders and hips toward your target.

✅ Establish a balanced, stable body position.

✅ Direct the ball with control, not unnecessary arm movement.

✅ Focus on accuracy and consistency.

💡 Remember: Good ball control starts with good positioning!

Small adjustments in footwork and body alignment can make a big difference in passing accuracy.

It was a pleasure to work with these enthusiastic young athletes in Burundi, helping them improve their technique and build a stronger foundation for their beach volleyball development.

From Türkiye to Burundi — building new opportunities through beach volleyball. 🇹🇷🇧🇮

During my visit to Burundi, I had the pleasure of visiting the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye and sharing information about the potential Beach Volleyball Center Project in Burundi.

Through Boardee Sports, I am currently working together with our local partners on the initial planning and development of a concept that could create a dedicated beach volleyball center and contribute to the long-term growth of the sport in Burundi.

It was a valuable opportunity to present the vision behind the project, discuss its potential, and inform the Embassy about the work we have started here.

There is still a lot of work ahead — planning, evaluation and development — but every successful project starts with a vision and the right cooperation.

From Türkiye to Burundi, we are taking the first steps toward turning this idea into reality.

🇧🇮 A new beach volleyball vision begins in Burundi!

I’m very happy to be invited to Burundi to contribute my experience and ideas toward the development of a potential new Beach Volleyball Center.

Together with Boardee Sports, we have started working with the Burundian Volleyball Federation and Eden Garden Resort to explore how this vision could become a reality.

Right now, we are at the planning and project development stage — visiting the site, evaluating the possibilities, exchanging ideas, and preparing a concept and layout to determine what can realistically be achieved.

There is still a lot of work ahead, but every great project starts with an idea, a plan, and people who believe in its potential.

Our goal is to create a project that can support beach volleyball development, training camps, national and international events, and new opportunities for athletes in Burundi and the region.

Let’s see how far we can take this vision. 🏐🇧🇮

Looking back at a great week in Alanya! 🏐

With my dear friend Dr. Ahmed Amr Atta, FIVB Beach Volleyball Course Instructor.

We had a great FIVB Beach Volleyball Coaches Course, held from 5–9 August 2026, at the 23 Projects Alanya International Beach Volleyball Center.

It was a pleasure to host Ahmed in Alanya and spend these days together, sharing knowledge, experience and, most importantly, our passion for beach volleyball.

Thank you, my friend, for your valuable contribution, positive energy and friendship throughout the course. Another great beach volleyball experience and many good memories from Alanya!

See you again somewhere on the sand! 🏐🌍

Great to be in Madrid for the CEV U22 Beach Volleyball European Championships! 🇪🇸🏐

Events like this are about much more than competition. They are where we see the future stars of European beach volleyball taking their next steps, gaining international experience and competing at the highest level of their age group.

They are also an important meeting point for coaches, officials and delegates, all working together to support the development of the next generation and help beach volleyball continue to grow across Europe.

Always a pleasure to be part of this journey and to share the court with great colleagues.

The future of beach volleyball is already here in Madrid!
