Nobody talks about this footwork position mistake in Muay Thai…

Most people throw the jab…
then leave the rear foot stuck behind.

Now the stance gets too wide.
And in Muay Thai?

That’s when you get kicked.

Here’s what Head coach Kru Keng is teaching Ben instead:

1️⃣ Lead with the front foot to break their rhythm
Close distance properly and force your opponent to react.

2️⃣ Beat, beat then follow
Double jab while the rear foot follows behind naturally. Stay balanced, not stretched out.

3️⃣ Push off the front foot
After the second jab, use the lead foot to bring yourself back into position fast.

4️⃣ Create the trap
Your opponent sees the opening and fires back with their cross…

…but now you’re in good position ready to counter with your own cross.
