Nice One Coach Jeff.
Coach Journey at Kaizen Volleyball Academy.
From his high school days to his college career, Coach Jefferson proved himself on the court earning multiple awards and recognition through hard work, discipline, and passion for the game.
Starting volleyball at a young age, he built not just skills, but a champion mindset.
Under Coach Joannes’ supervision, he was molded, guided, and pushed beyond his limits, shaping him into the leader he is today..
"I started becoming a coach at Kaizen Volleyball Academy when I was in my 4th year of college. After finishing my journey as a student-athlete, I couldn’t let go of playing volleyball. Coach Annes invited me to try coaching to see if I would enjoy teaching campers like I once did. Without hesitation, I immediately accepted the opportunity. "
How did Kaizen help him in his personal and coaching journey?
"Kaizen helped me a lot. Because of Kaizen, I became the Head Coach of the Calayan Women’s Volleyball Team. It didn’t just help me financially, it also helped me grow as a person. I became more outspoken, improved my communication skills, overcame my shyness, and gained more confidence," he added.
Kaizen didn’t just open doors it transformed him.
But beyond skills and achievements, Coach Jefferson stands for something deeper. - "As someone who was once like the campers, I want them to learn from us how to become players who listen and have good character, not just skilled athletes, but individuals who also carry the right attitude on and off the court.
At Kaizen, respect is not one-sided; it is mutual.
Players are taught to respect their coaches, but coaches are equally committed to showing respect, understanding, and care to their players.
Because in Kaizen, we don’t just build athletes
we build character, discipline, and a culture of respect.
We appreciate Coach Jefferson’s unwavering love for the academy, a passion that goes beyond coaching, shaping lives, building character, and inspiring the next generation. 🫡.
