Freeblast 7b

Big congratulations to Joke, one of our technical team, on sending his first 7b project! Reaching this level takes sheer power, refined technique, endurance, relentless practice, and a strong mental.

The Freeblast (7b) route is located at The Aircon Wall. Although it’s short at 13 meters, it’s exceptionally steep—highly recommended for climbers who love a powerful, bouldery style!

การเดินทางเริ่มต้นมาไกลกว่านั้น ทั้ง อ้วน (Ooan Kongsingh) และ หมวด (Muad) ต่างก็เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของคอร์ส AMGA SPI รุ่นแรกในเชียงใหม่เมื่อปี 2010 ต่อมาในปี 2013 เราได้ส่งอ้วนเดินทางไปสหรัฐอเมริกาในโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนไกด์รุ่นแรกของเรา นับตั้งแต่นั้นมา เขาก็ได้กลายเป็น 1 ใน 2 ไกด์สาขา Rock Guide ของ AMGA ในประเทศไทย และถือเป็นต้นแบบของการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาตัวเองอย่างไม่หยุดยั้ง

และวันนี้ ก็วนมาอีกครั้ง เมื่ออ้วนเป็นผู้สอนคอร์ส TCDA SPI ด้วยตัวเอง เพื่อส่งต่อรากฐานเดียวกันนี้ให้กับคนรุ่นหลัง

ท่ามกลางนักเรียนในคอร์สนี้ มีทั้ง โจ๊ก, ทิฟฟี่, น้าหวาน และ หมวด โดยหมวด ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในไกด์รุ่นแรกๆ ของเราเมื่อ 24 ปีก่อน ทั้งยังเป็นไกด์มากฝีมือและอดีตนักกีฬาทีมชาติ ได้กลับมานั่งเรียนในห้องอีกครั้งโดยไม่ยึดติดกับประสบการณ์ที่มี เพื่อเป็นแบบอย่างว่าเราไม่เคยหยุดที่จะเรียนรู้

ทุกคนร่วมกันสร้างรากฐานที่จะส่งผลต่อวงการการสอนปีนผาของไทยอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ต่อไปในอนาคต

ขอปรบมือให้กับ TCDA สำหรับความทุ่มเทเพื่อผลักดันให้โครงการนี้สำเร็จลุล่วงด้วยดี

the journey goes back behind that. Ooan Kongsingh and Muad were both part of our first Chiang Mai based AMGA SPI course back in 2010. In 2013, we sent Ooan to the USA for our first guide exchange program. Since then he‘s become one of two AMGA Rock Guide’s in Thailand and is a true model of what it means to fuel your progression. Now, full circle, Ooan is teaching the TCDA SPI course himself, passing that same foundation on to the next generation.

Among his students are Joke, Tiffy, Namwan and Muad. Muad, one of our first guides 24 years ago, is already an accomplished guide and former national team member. He is back in the classroom, regardless of his experience, setting the example that we never stop learning.

Together, this group is building the foundation for tremendous impact in Thai climbing instruction for years to come.

A huge shout out to the TCDA for their efforts to get this over the finish line.
