Dear friends,
Player Classification & Promotion Policy
To ensure fair and competitive play for all participants, GSmash Thailand reserves the right to classify or reclassify any player based on their playing ability, competition history, and tournament results.
Player Promotion Policy
Players who have achieved outstanding results in previous tournaments are expected to compete at a higher level in future events. This policy is designed to maintain fairness and provide opportunities for new players to compete within their appropriate skill level.
The promotion guidelines are as follows:
* Level D Champions and Runner-up finishers are required to compete in Level C or above.
* Level C Champions and Runner-up finishers are required to compete in Level B or above.
* Level B Champions and Runner-up finishers are required to compete in Level A.
* Level A is the highest competition level, and players are expected to remain in this category unless otherwise determined by the Tournament Committee.
Results from Other Tournaments
Players who have won titles or consistently achieved high-ranking results in other local, national, or international badminton tournaments may also be required to compete in a higher category, even if they have never participated in GSmash Thailand before.
The Tournament Committee will review each player’s tournament history, rankings, and overall playing standard when determining the appropriate competition level.
Committee Authority
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to review any player’s classification before or during the tournament.
The Committee may promote a player to a higher category if there is sufficient evidence that the player’s ability exceeds the level they registered for.
Any decision made by the Tournament Committee regarding player classification shall be final and not subject to appeal.
The purpose of this policy is not to disadvantage any player, but to ensure a fair, enjoyable, and competitive environment for all participants.
