Bangkok Bangers opened the season at the Nawamin 10s. Attacking rugby, tight defence, undefeated through the pool stages and into the final.

Went down 12–5 to a strong Royal Thai Air Force side in the final.

Unlucky not to take it, but a proper marker for where this squad is at.

Plenty to build on. On to our cup title defence in Hua Hin in September.

The Bangers opened the season at the Nawamin 10s in Bangkok, playing some exciting attacking rugby backed up by a strong defensive effort to go undefeated through the pool stages and earn a place in the final.

The boys were unlucky not to take it out, going down 12–5 to a strong Royal Thai Air Force side in the final. A really positive start to the season, with plenty to build on ahead of Hua Hin in September.

All good things must come to an end.

The Bangers closed out their TRU campaign on Saturday against the Royal Thai Navy. A gutsy performance wasn’t quite enough to topple last season’s champions, and despite a late rally from the Bangers, the scoreline finished agonizingly close at 13-16.

While the result didn’t go our way, it was still an incredibly successful season for the club. Everyone involved played their part, and can be proud of what has been achieved throughout the year.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Bangers through the highs and lows of the season. Your support never goes unnoticed.

We can’t wait to see you back next season, when we do it all again!

The last dance for 2026!

The Bangers team are eagerly anticipating a fierce battle with the Royal Thai Navy this Saturday at 2PM at OV.

With only bragging rights up for grabs, the Bangers seek to finish their season strong and achieve their highest finish in TRU history.

Game will be live on YouTube, but we’d love to hear you cheering from the sidelines.
