I’ve been teaching yoga for a long time, and I keep coming back to the same question:
How do we build a life that actually reflects what we say matters most to us?
Because it’s one thing to know our values.
It’s another thing to live them.
We can have the best intentions in the world and still get pulled off course by distraction, habit, fear, busyness, other people’s needs, our phones, our stories, our own beautifully complicated minds.
This is part of why I created Path of Devotion Columbia Gorge.
For 10 days in the Columbia River Gorge, we’ll step out of the usual pace of life and get curious about what we are truly devoted to—and then explore the practices that help us live from that place.
We’ll move deeply into asana, prana, the subtle body, bandhas, philosophy, mythology, mantra, bhakti, sacred consumption, consistency, attention, presence, voice and sound.
We’ll practice doing hard things.
We’ll practice getting quiet.
We’ll practice bringing our attention back to what matters.
We’ll explore sadhana not as another item on the to-do list, but as a living set of tools for aligning our moment-to-moment choices with the direction we want our lives to move.
And we’ll sing.
A lot.
DJ Drez will be with us as our root beat and sound ambassador, weaving rhythm, bass, harmonium, mantra and movement through our days.
There is something very powerful about taking 10 days to practice together—to study, sweat, laugh, question, chant, listen, eat, be in nature, and remember.
This is for yoga teachers who want to deepen their teaching.
And it’s equally for practitioners who simply feel the call to go deeper into their own practice, their own questions, and their own lives.

Maybe devotion isn't about finding the one thing you should be doing with your life.
Maybe it's about learning to pay attention to what matters—and then practicing your way toward it, again and again and again.
I’d love to practice that with you.
