Koh Tao Swim

Founded 2011, Koh Tao Swim is Koh Tao’s first and only accredited swim school for all ages and abilities.

Nicki is an independent and fully qualified swimming instructor, offering a range of aquatic programmes that develops the confidence in swimming, snorkeling and water survival techniques. Comfort, safety and enjoyment are paramount in Nicki’s teaching philosophy, and each lesson is carefully planned and tailored to individual needs. Water confidence and the ability to swim are gifts for life, and open the door to a wide range of water based activities such as Snorkeling, Scuba Diving and Sailing, all of which can be enjoyed here on Koh Tao.

As this November comes to an end (after a very strange month of weather), we are finally closing for our annual holidays!

This December, I'll be travelling home to the UK for all the festive feels with family and friends.

Making Moves in Monsoon!

This November, our regular swimmers and group Swim School lessons take their break as Monsoon season weather creeps in?! 😳

During these months, we often experience rain and winds. Trying to reschedule multiple lessons, for multiple students each week just doesn't work. 😞

Does this mean I'm closed?

No!....But I am working on a reduced schedule, private pre booked lessons, mornings only, weather permitting! ✔️🏊‍♂️☀️

Swim School Enrollment NOW‼️ 🏊‍♂️

Koh Tao Swim is the islands only accredited and registered Swim Centre, offering swimming and snorkelling lessons to all ages and abilities.

Our SSI Swim School operates group lessons after school and Saturdays.

With a maximum of 4/5 children in each class, places are limited, and pre booking is essential.

This month in September, we have a few spaces still left available....

SATURDAYS @ 12 NOON
5+ Yrs Beginners - 1 space left.

Practice like Pookie 👌

Pookie came to me a few weeks ago with a personal goal to become comfortable and competent in the water! 💦

At our first class, Pookie expressed panic and fear of deep water....and that's ok.😱👌

Here, , we work with all ages and abilities. Learning to swim can change lives....it's never too late to learn! 🏊‍♂️

After only 1 session, a private package was purchased, and we started to meet daily.

Practice, after practice after practice, Pookie persevered and replaced these fears with skills and perfection!

A Joyful Journey 💙

Every June, we take a break from our Swim School regular groups. Some children were just not ready for the swim journey to end! 🤔

Journey has been a regular in swim school lessons for some time and completed Begginner 1 after her last group course. 🏊‍♂️👌
She has loved our bi-weekly 1:1 lessons, and the progress has really paid off. 🙌 💪

In only 1 month, she has completed the next diploma and is well on her way to her next. 😮💙

Miracles for Miriam 💙

Miriam came to us , eager to make the move and overcome her fears of water (particularly deep water and open water).

After her first class, Miriam was feeling more confident and signed up for a swim/ snorkel package, which meant meeting with me most mornings! 🏊‍♂️👌🌊

The improvements were impressive, and everyday ability, confidence, and strength were building. 💪

Before leaving Koh Tao, Miriam booked a snorkel trip around the island and had the most MERMAZING day ever, and me I was made up....just marvellous! 🏝🤿

Victory for Vighnesh! 🏆

A very happy Vighnesh after one of our 'Swim for Scuba' sessions by the beach! ⛱️ 😁

Vighnesh came to us last week and booked an adult package. 💙 During these sessions, we are able to work on numerous aquatic activities such as water safety, swimming, snorkeling, survival skills, and more! 🏊‍♂️🏝🤿💦

After having some past bad experiences in the water, this crash course crushed his fears and built his confidence.....before we knew it, he was underwater DIVING and saying 'Hi' to all the fishes. 🐠👌🐟
