Clarity hasn’t been my strongest suit. As an eclectic soul, I often find myself pulled in different directions. I want to do everything and go everywhere.
This past year, I felt like I was in between places mentally and physically—looking for somewhere to belong but not quite finding our home (We’ve been slow traveling for the past 8 years.) So when I came across the Vision Board workshop for Glowing Supernanay community, organized by its beautiful founder Jaycee Laude-Bernardo, I immediately signed up.
We started in a small circle, sharing our stories one by one. I didn’t expect it to be that intimate. One moment we were strangers, the next we were sharing our struggles and wins. It was a much-needed pause and release.
I was surrounded by women from different walks of life—mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, survivors, career women—each with a powerful story. The girl power is energizing!
Guided by Diane, our Life Alignment Coach, we worked on our Ikigai and vision boards which I really enjoyed.
We wear different hats, we juggle so many responsibilities and it's so easy to get lost amongst the different labels we give ourselves. More than clarity, I needed that reminder and safe space to connect. Just like the sticker I received—“This must be the place”—I was reminded that I am always where I need to be and that wherever I am in the world, I am always home.
