+268 Chess Club Celebrates Outstanding Success at the 2026 Mozambique Open Chess Championship

The +268 Chess Club proudly congratulates two of our outstanding players for flying the Eswatini flag high at the 2026 Mozambique Open Chess Championship.

A special congratulations to WCM Dlamini Sinqobile, who delivered an exceptional performance, scoring 5/7 to finish tied for 2nd place, earning a well-deserved podium finish in the Women’s Section against a strong international field.

We also celebrate our rising star, Az Unathi Msibi, for winning the Bronze Medal in the U13 Girls category. This achievement is a testament to her dedication, talent, and promising future in chess.

These remarkable performances showcase the growing strength of Eswatini chess and the bright future of our players on the international stage. We are immensely proud of both Sinqobile and Unathi for representing +268 Chess Club and Eswatini with excellence.
