The Apuk Juwiir Olympic Tournament 2025–2026 will forever be remembered as a season of pride, excellence, and unforgettable achievements. We celebrate our prolific striker Toby Yellek (CR) for lifting the tournament trophy with Tarweng Community Team, and we honor our inspirational captain Masienyoro for being crowned Best Player and Top Scorer of the competition.

Great leaders lead from the front, and our captain Masienyoro proved this throughout the Apuk Juwiir Olympic 2025–2026. With outstanding performances match after match, he earned the titles of Best Player and Top Scorer of the tournament. His vision, courage, and fighting spirit pushed the team forward in difficult moments and lifted everyone around him. These awards are not just personal achievements, but a symbol of leadership, sacrifice, and excellence. Congratulations to our captain — your legacy is firmly written in this tournament’s history.

Hearty congratulations to our son and champion, Toby Yellek, popularly known as CR, together with the entire Tarweng community team, on their glorious triumph at the Apuk Juwiir Olympic 2025–2026. Subject: Official Condemnation and Clarification on the Appeal Concerning the Case Against Wolves FC

The management of Genanyuon Sports Club wishes to categorically condemn and clarify the misinformation currently circulating regarding our appeal to the Tonj South Football Association (TSFA) and the Committee for Complaints and Appeals.

Following the TSFA’s recent communication indicating that the Management convened a meeting with Genanyuon SC and the Committee for Complaints and Appeals to review the appeal case against Wolves FC, certain parties have misrepresented our position—claiming that Genanyuon SC has requested a rematch.

We wish to set the record straight. At no point has Genanyuon SC requested a rematch.
Our appeal was filed strictly in accordance with the SSFA Constitution and the governing regulations, specifically under Article 90(B), which provides guidance on the handling of procedural errors or breaches during match administration.

Our intention and request to the TSFA have always been to seek the fair and lawful application of football regulations, not to demand a replay or rematch. The core of our appeal is to ensure that the integrity of the game is protected, that match officials are held accountable to their duties, and that justice is served based on the established rules and precedents.

As a law-abiding sports institution, Genanyuon SC strongly believes in the principles of fair play, transparency, and respect for football governance structures. We have full confidence in the TSFA Management and the Committee for Complaints and Appeals to handle this case objectively and deliver a decision that upholds the dignity of the sport.

We therefore condemn any false statements or narratives suggesting that Genanyuon SC’s objective is to obtain a rematch. Such claims are misleading, unfounded, and intended to misinform the public and discredit our legitimate appeal process.

We take this opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to sportsmanship and the rule of law. Our club remains focused on promoting unity, discipline, and professionalism both on and off the pitch.

We appreciate the TSFA and the Committee for their continued efforts in maintaining order and fairness in football administration, and we look forward to the official ruling on this matter with trust in due process.

Official Response to the TSFA Committee Decision
Date: 6th November 2025

Genanyuon Sports Club acknowledges the receipt of the official decision issued by the Tonj South Football Association (TSFA) regarding our complaint against Wolves FC.

We accept and respect the outcome of the Committee’s findings and wish to state clearly that Genanyuon SC has no bad intention to file an appeal to disrupt the tournament or football but following the rules of football. However, we emphasize that no team intentionally commits an act that would lead to losing a match or facing disciplinary action. Error whether clerical or administrative are part of the game and must be recognized as such.

Therefore, we call upon the TSFA leadership to acknowledge that an error did occur, though and not stated as unintentional, and to treat it as a shared responsibility rather than a deliberate act.

We also reaffirm our earlier request made in the office today for a fair compromise in the spirit of sportsmanship and unity so we will let the case go forward as it stands.

Finally, we extend our best wishes to Wolves FC in their upcoming final and urge all football fans, players, and clubs to uphold respect, fairness, and integrity in all circumstances—regardless of the outcomes of matches or petitions.

Official Clarification from Genanyuon Sports Club

Subject: Clarification on the Match-Day Lineup of Wolves FC vs. Genanyuon SC

Following recent discussions and circulating claims regarding our petition to the Tonj South Football Association (TSFA), Genanyuon Sports Club would like to issue the following clarification:

During the match between Wolves FC and Genanyuon SC, it was observed that a player listed on the official Wolves FC match-day lineup under jersey number 7 later joined the game wearing jersey number 2. This incident has also been publicly posted by Wolves FC. Our management and coaching team have a verified copy of the official lineup from that day, and a screenshot of it is attached here for reference.

According to the official tournament rules and regulations issued to all participating teams, a player cannot change jersey numbers or play under an unregistered number that does not appear on the official match-day squad list.

Our petition, therefore, was not about “swapping jersey numbers,” as some individuals and players from other clubs have suggested. It was a legitimate concern about a clear violation of tournament rules, since the player wearing number 2 was not officially listed in the lineup for that match.

Genanyuon SC will continue to respect and follow the rules and regulations governing the competition, and we remain committed to complying with any legitimate and appropriate decision made by TSFA.

As always, Genanyuon SC stands for fair play, transparency, and the integrity of football. Our actions are guided solely by the desire to ensure that the rules are applied equally to all participating teams.

Addressed to Mr. Kuol Kuol Wol, President/CEO of Godzilla FC

Dear Mr. Kuol Kuol Wol,

We have noted your recent remarks describing Genanyuon Sports Club as “the team with the most complaints” and “the one that always files petitions.” With all due respect, we find this statement inaccurate and disappointing, especially coming from a football leader who should be promoting unity and respect among clubs.

Filing a petition or raising a complaint is not a sign of weakness or conflict it is a right for every club under football rules. We only act when fairness or the integrity of the game is at stake. Standing up for justice should never be mocked or turned into an insult.

As leaders, our responsibility is to build peace and respect, not to attack or label other clubs publicly. Such comments create unnecessary division and set a poor example for players, fans, and the football community. Issues between clubs should be addressed through official channels, not through social media or public statements.

We also wish to inform you that our coaching staff have already submitted their formal complaint to the football association regarding the matter between our clubs. We will patiently wait for the association’s decision because we believe in the process not in public argument.

Genanyuon Sports Club has no grudge or rivalry with Godzilla FC. We have always focused on football development, discipline, and fair play. However, we will not accept any attempt to publicly brand or humiliate our club under the excuse of leadership opinion.

We therefore urge you to be more careful with your public remarks. True leadership is shown through calmness, respect, and professionalism, not through attacks on fellow clubs.

We stand firm as Genanyuon SC — a club built on integrity, respect, and discipline. We will continue to defend our image, our players, and our values with pride and dignity.
