A message of heartfelt condolences for the untimely passing on of a football great icon and a senior 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 for Warrap State aka 𝐒𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐊𝐮𝐞𝐤 𝐁𝐨𝐥

Gogrial Local Football Association-GWC is deeply saddened to have learned the passing on of a great Coach Sebit Kuek Bol who departed his life today Wednesday the 6th of May 2026 in Juba following a short illness.

Coach Sebit was a cornerstone of the football community, leaving an indelible mark on the Kuajok Football Association and the nation at large. Throughout his distinguished career, he dedicated his life to the beautiful game, serving with passion as:

• Head Coach of Salaam FC among many other clubs
• Director of Football Academy
• Head of the Coaches Committee for the Kuajok Football Association

His technical expertise and unwavering commitment to nurturing talent have shaped the lives of countless athletes. Coach Sebit’s immense contributions to the growth of football in South Sudan will remain a permanent part of our history and will never be forgotten.

The GoLFA family joins the immediate family in mourning his untimely demise while celebrating a life dedicated to excellence and service. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the entire football fraternity during this difficult time.

𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Gogrial West Inter Payam Tournament Official Draw Unveiled.

Following the drawing of participating teams at Rio Hotel, the Technical Committee has unveiled the official draws with Alek South and Alek West kick-start the GWIPT as an opening game.

The following teams are drawn as follow.

● Group A

1- Alek South
2- Alek West
3- Akon South
4- Kuac South
5- Gogrial

● Group B

1-Akon North
2- Alek North
3- Riau Payam
4- Kuac North

The GWIPT will kick-start on 17 May 2026 in Juba at Muniki playground.

The general meeting organized by the Gogrial Local Football Association (GWC) is an important gathering that brings together all six team managers under the association. This meeting is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 29th March 2026 at Eagle Fam Clinic, starting at 02:00 AM.

The purpose of this meeting is likely to discuss key matters related to football activities in Gogrial West County. These may include:

Planning and organizing upcoming football competitions or leagues

Discussing rules, regulations, and discipline among teams

Addressing any challenges faced by teams or the association

Coordinating schedules, fixtures, and venues for matches

Warm greetings to everyone in your respective areas.

The Office of Gogrial Local Football Association (GLFA) would like to officially inform the public that we have submitted the list of selected referees and coaches to the office of Kuajok Local Football for verification and approval. The training program will be scheduled soon under the responsibility and supervision of the relevant training college.

About the Training Opportunity

This training program is an important professional development opportunity designed for:

Senior (old) referees who need refresher courses to update their knowledge according to modern football laws and standards.

New referees who require foundational training to gain full understanding of the Laws of the Game, match control, decision-making, fitness requirements, and professional conduct.

Coaching staff who aim to strengthen their technical, tactical, and leadership skills in order to effectively train and manage teams.

Objectives of the Training

The main goals of this training include:

1. Enhancing knowledge of the official Laws of the Game.

2. Improving practical refereeing skills, including positioning, communication, and match management.

3. Building the capacity of coaches in modern football techniques, player development, and team organization.

4. Promoting discipline, professionalism, and integrity in local football competitions.

5. Ensuring that football activities in Gogrial West County meet recognized standards.

This initiative will help upgrade the overall quality of football in our county by equipping referees and coaches with full skills, confidence, and updated knowledge.

During a trip to South Sudan, war photographer Jan Grarup met a young boy wearing a badly damaged AC Milan jersey with 'Balotelli 45' on the back... 💔🇸🇸

The photographer, also an AC Milan fan, offered the child to exchange the heavily-worn jersey for a brand new one 🔁

He accepted, and Grarup then gave the damaged jersey to AC Milan, who decided to proudly display it at the Mondo Milan Museum 👕🏟️

The club also made a significant donation to UNICEF to support children in South Sudan 👏

A powerful reminder that football is more than just a game ❤️.

Gogrial Local Football Association (GLFA–GWC) 2026

The Gogrial Local Football Association would like to officially inform the public and all football stakeholders that an executive meeting was successfully conducted yesterday.

The meeting was very productive and constructive. All executive members were present, except a few members who were absent with official permission. During the meeting, members openly discussed a number of key challenges currently facing the Gogrial Local Football Association and explored possible solutions to strengthen the administration and development of football within Gogrial West County.

Furthermore, the executive body deliberated and reached important resolutions on the following matters:

1. Review of Signings:
A detailed review was conducted on the player and official signings made one month ago, focusing on compliance, performance, and future improvements.

2. Suspension of Referees:
The meeting resolved to suspend two referees due to disciplinary and administrative concerns, in line with the association’s rules and regulations. Further investigations and decisions will be communicated in due course.

3. Opening of the League:
Plans and preparations for the upcoming local league were discussed, including timelines, team participation, officiating, and organizational arrangements. The association reaffirmed its commitment to organizing a fair, competitive, and successful league season.

The registration for referees and coaches who are due for training is ongoing and once the registration is over, the team from Kuajok will come for one week training to our referees and coaches ahead of the planned league
