It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that Diamond Stars Football Club announces the untimely passing of our beloved former player and Technical Director, Mohamed Dabundeh, who departed this life this morning in Kono District.
Mohamed Dabundeh was a distinguished footballer whose talent and dedication brought pride to Diamond Stars Football Club and the nation at large. He proudly represented Leone Stars, the national team of Sierra Leone, and enjoyed a remarkable professional career, playing football in Lebanon, Egypt, the Philippines, and several Gulf States.
His passion for the game, humility, and commitment to excellence inspired countless young footballers and earned him the respect and admiration of the entire football community.
The family has announced that the burial home will be at the Dabundeh Compound, Koidu City, Kono District. Further details regarding the funeral and burial arrangements will be communicated at a later date.
