THE SAGA TEAM AT THE PRINCE OF WALES SCHOOL
Ladies and gentlemen,
This is an official announcement from The Saga Team.
We are pleased to report on our recent visit to The Prince of Wales School, where our team conducted a vital physical assessment exercise for the pupils. With us was the founder of the Good eye foundation The purpose of this visit was to carry out essential measurements, including height, weight, and wingspan, as part of a structured developmental and health-monitoring initiative.
These measurements are extremely important. They help us to:
Monitor the physical growth and development of pupils
Identify early health or developmental concerns
Provide accurate data that supports sports development, talent identification, and overall student wellbeing
Establish benchmarks that guide schools, parents, and relevant authorities in making informed decisions about student care and physical education programs
We recorded a very good turnout of boys, which greatly enhanced the accuracy and value of the assessment. From the data collected, the average height of the boys measured was approximately 5 feet 2 inches. Notably, the tallest pupil measured an impressive 6 feet 4 inches, both in height and wingspan, while the shortest pupil measured about 4 feet. These variations clearly highlight the importance of regular assessments, as growth patterns differ significantly among pupils of the same age group.
We must also commend the excellent reception and high level of cooperation we received from the school administration, staff, and pupils. The students were receptive, disciplined, and enthusiastic throughout the exercise, making the entire process smooth and highly successful.
In closing, The Saga Team strongly emphasizes that this type of assessment is essential and should be embraced by other schools. Participation ensures healthier students, better planning for physical education programs, and early identification of exceptional athletic potential.
We extend our sincere appreciation to The Prince of Wales School for their outstanding collaboration and encourage more institutions to take part in initiatives of this nature.
Thank you
