In a dazzling display at the CAF Gala held ahead of the 46th CAF Ordinary General Assembly which took place on Tuesday October 22 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Sierra Leonean football legend Mohamed Kallon made headlines with a stellar performance, scoring four goals to lead his team, CAF FC, to a 7-3 triumph over a squad of African football icons. Kallon, playing alongside CAF President Patrice Motsepe and other prominent CAF Executive Committee members, showcased his skills and charisma, making this his first appearance at a CAF Congress one to remember.
The match was a thrilling display of talent, with Kallon’s side facing off against legendary names in African football, including Senegal’s El Hadji Diouf, Nigeria’s Jay Jay Okocha, Cameroon’s Samuel Eto’o, and fellow Sierra Leonean Rodney Strasser.
