What a competition! Now it’s time to celebrate the champions of JEGC 2025!

With the final day behind us, we’re excited to announce the 7th Junior European Gliding Champions of 2025! It’s especially impressive that the winners of yesterday’s last task also claimed the overall victory, proving they had what it takes right to the very end.

We are proud to present the final results:

The 7th Junior European Gliding Championship 2025 has officially come to a close. We are proud to present the winners of the Club Class:

The final landings of JEGC 2025 are complete. Not everyone made it home today, and they didn’t come in all at once — but everyone is safe and all or of them are counted.

Scoring is underway so we can announce the winners tomorrow at 11:00!

After the final gridding and final briefing, we sent the pilots off on the last task of JEGC 2025 — the flight that will decide who becomes the European Champion in gliding.

Huge thanks to the tow pilots and grid team for their incredible effort to keep everything running smoothly.

Weather during Task 9 was truly interesting – strong winds, high cloud cover alternating with sunny windows made dynamic flying conditions.

Both classes faced most challenging AATs of the competition, with areas set through the beautiful but demanding Slovak hills. The pilots handled it brilliantly! And welcomed the official rest day with big smiles and well-deserved relief.

Day 11 ended on a warm note with a cozy international gathering in the hangar. :)
