Free weights are better for gaining muscle... is that really true? 🤔
Studies show that they're the same in terms of hypertrophy 🤭
The real difference (where it does matter):
Free weights → better for coordination, stabilisers, skill carryover
Machines → better for isolation, stability, pushing closer to failure safely
Otherwise, just mix and match. Do what you like, as long as you work it close to failure! 💪🏻
