That’s me doing my first and ONLY exercise yesterday.
Few reps in and Migraine hit like a wall.
I usually modify my workout. Reduce the weight, slow the pace and keep moving. Yesterday my body wasn’t asking for that. It was done negotiating.
So I left.
Here’s what I want you to know, migraines don’t just get worse with stress or bad sleep. For a lot of us in perimenopause and menopause, they get worse because estrogen doesn’t just drop it fluctuates. And those fluctuations affect serotonin and pain processing pathways in the brain. Migraines become more frequent, more intense. Sometimes a completely new symptom.
Listening to your body isn’t weakness. It’s data.
I’ll be back tomorrow. That’s not quitting, that’s knowing the difference.
