Here’s how sleep deprivation affects your body compositions and fat loss progress.

When you are sleep deprived your ghrelin levels goes up 📈 and leptin levels starts falling 📉 and therefore you will tend to overeat which will result in calorie surplus.

(ghrelin = hormones which triggers hunger
leptin = hormones which regulates appetite)

Also your body and brain starts to feel tired to perform any kind activities.

Besides fat loss, poor sleep quality also damages the immunity system of our body, brain cognitive functions and mental focus 🧠.
