🇸🇬 Is swimming “cold” for kids in Singapore?

Even in Singapore, pools can feel cold — especially in the morning, during rainy days, or at shaded pools. Children lose body heat faster than adults, which can affect comfort and focus during lessons.

✅ Recommended swimwear for kids:
• Long-sleeve rash guards
• Thermal / neoprene swim tops
• One-piece or thermal swim suits for younger kids

These help keep kids warm without affecting movement.

💡 Tip for parents: If your child shivers easily or feels cold quickly, thermal swimwear can make lessons more comfortable and enjoyable.
