KGA was set up by Head Coach Victoria Karpenko who began gymnastics at the age of four in Kruliya Sovetov, one of Russia's leading rhythmic gymnastics academies where she fell in love with the sport. She began her competitive career at age seven where she quickly established herself as one of Russia's leading rhythmic gymnasts. At the age of eleven Victoria was asked to join the Russian national t
eam before becoming champion of Russia for the first time at the age of thirteen and again at the age of sixteen. She was awarded Master of Sport International Class shortly after, the highest sport accolade awarded to Russian athletes. At the age of seventeen, Victoria graduated to the coaching staff of Kruliya Sovetov and oversaw pupils who subsequently became national, European, Youth Olympic champions and World Cup winners. In 2009, Victoria began her international coaching career in the USA where she helped coach one athlete to become national champion and qualify for the London Olympic games. In 2013, Victoria coached members of the Spanish national team representing Spain in national and European championship while guiding pupils through World cup and Olympics preparations. In 2014, she came to Singapore to coach the junior national team before leaving to set up KGA in 2015 with the mission of raising the standards of rhythmic gymnastics in the country.
