Mt Rinjani Trek ~ 19-24 August 2026

Mt Rinjani > many have described it as a tough climb, with plenty of moments that will test you. But with the right preparation, determination, and a good team, it can be done

Congratulations to everyone on completing the trek! 🎉

This successful trek was made possible because everyone took the time to train and prepare for the arduous journey. Our professional and experienced support team in Lombok played an important part in making the trek run smoothly, and we were also blessed with good weather.

Most importantly, everyone played their part - giving their best, looking out for one another, and helping each other along the way.

That’s what makes a tough trek a little more manageable, and a lot more meaningful ❤️⛰️

Zumba session! 💃🕺

Our trekkers came ready to move, groove and work up a sweat—but what turned out to be the real challenge was the **coordination!** 🤣 Left, right, up, down… and somehow everyone had their own choreography! 😂

Fitness doesn’t always have to be serious. Sometimes, it’s about having fun, laughing at ourselves, and getting active together. 💪😆

A great way to get the body moving and the team energised! ❤️

Another stair training session done! Different mountains, same goals, same madness!

And somewhere along the way, we caught the sun setting from golden skies to nightfall

Congratulations to the team on their summit climb of OSM Peak - 4451m! 🇸🇬⛰️

Next up, OTC Peak - 4743m on National Day! ❤️🤍

May the weather stay bright and sunny, the skies stay clear, and the Singapore spirit keeps the team going all the way to the top! ☀️💪🇸🇬

**********
The OSM peak was first climbed by Ong Tze Boon & Ong Tze Guan (the sons of Singapore's beloved late President Ong Teng Cheong), Lim Kim Boon (Mountaineering Coach and Mentor) and Leow Kah Shin (the first Singaporean to climb Everest and Lhotse back to back in a single season). They named it "Ong Siew May peak", in memory of our late President Ong Teng Cheong's wife.

>

On 29 July 2005, Singaporean mountaineers David Lim, Wilfred Tok, Mohd Rozani Maarof and Dr Shani Tan summited an unnamed peak and named it Ong Teng Cheong Peak, in honour of Singapore’s former President and patron of Singapore’s first Everest expedition in 1995.

The name was initially unofficial. In 2016 and 2017, Ong Tze Boon led expeditions to the range, re-recorded the peak’s coordinates and worked with the authorities in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to formalise the name.

On 28 June 2017, the Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation of Kazakhstan officially recognised Ong Teng Cheong Peak at 4743m, together with nearby Ong Siew May Peak at 4451m.

Mt Fuji | 2 Days, 1 Night 🏔️

No shortcuts. No rush.

Just one step after another, climbing together towards Japan's highest peak.

Over two days and one night, we shared the trail, rested in the mountain hut, witnessed a breathtaking sunrise, and stood on the summit of Mt Fuji.

More than reaching the top, this journey was about the friendships forged, the encouragement exchanged, and the privilege of experiencing the mountain together.

Thank you, Mt Fuji, for welcoming us and allowing us to complete our journey safely. Until we meet again.

Today's trail training wasn't easy. The humid morning made every climb feel a little longer, every step a little heavier, but that's exactly why we train. The mountains won't always give us perfect conditions, and neither should our preparation.

Just a few days earlier, we were climbing 40 storeys of stairs, challenging our legs, lungs, and determination in a different way.

Different sessions. Different terrain. The same purpose.

A big thank you to everyone who made time to train with us this week. Your consistency today will become your confidence on the mountain.

See you at the next training session! 💪⛰️

10-11 July 2026 : Sleep can wait. The journey to the mountains starts at home!

21km through the night. Thank you to every trekker who showed up and put in the work.
