Leadership's Tapestry: Trust at its Core
For all leaders out there , this is such an insightful article and analysis on the element of which equates to Leaders Effectiveness.
Sharing on some perspectives on what I have seen in the decades as a Business Leader and Executive Coach.

❇️Positive relationships: The ability to create positive relationships with other people and groups.
My own take : Leaders need to come from a space of compassion and care for the people they lead. Being authentic and genuine in connections is utmost critical. How often have we seen leaders wearing masks in dealing with different stakeholders or with their teams ? How often do we see unconscious bias seep into their behaviours ?
❇️Good Judgement/Expertise. The extent to which a leader is well-informed and knowledgeable in view of understand the technical aspects of the work as well as have a depth of experience.
My own take : Leaders are not mailbox to convey message and instructions from the top. Neither are leaders just a voice box to lash out orders to the people on the ground . Credibility of the leader is so important to create total buy-in and respect . How often have we seen incompetent leaders sitting at the top of the echelon or being parachuted into leadership position for other reasons or hidden political agendas ?
❇️Consistency. The extent to which leaders walk their talk and do what they say they will do.
My own take : Consistency is a habit and habits are bloody hard work . How often do we see leaders being very compelling with the stories they are telling but fall short of delivery or even better so outsource the doing to their direct reports?
As a leader, you want the people in your organization to trust you. And with good reason. In our coaching with leaders, we often see that trust is a leading indicator of whether others evaluate them positively or negatively. But how to create that trust, or perhaps more importantly, how reestablish....
