Many toddlers cry, cling to Mum or Dad, or refuse to put their face in the water during their first few lessons.

While 28 medals came home with our swimmers today, the biggest achievement was seeing every child step onto the starting block with confidence.

Whether they won a medal or not, every swimmer challenged themselves, supported their friends, and grew stronger through the experience.
