More than just a good rub down.

This client has a dysfunction between the cervical and thoracic spine for years, plus lateral recess stenosis. Other than a good massage to loosen the muscle tension and mobilisation of his thoracic and lumbar vertebrae; I suggested the long term solution to his condition. EXERCISE. I prescribed the exercises needed to improve his condition.

The solution or prevention to some chronic pain is to strengthen the involved muscles.

6 weeks after surgery and he still couldn't straighten his leg so his surgeon and physiotherapist suggested this. Nothing gives me more joy than knowing their condition improves.

My client has pain and a lot of tightness on the right side of his erector spinae, latissimus dorsi due to muscle imbalance and has been coming regularly to ease the tension via manual therapy and PEMF. We have also been working on activating only the left side of his back.
Last week he saw an ad on ANF (Amino Neuro Frequency) and gave it a shot. He shared with me on the accessment and treatment done. The practitioner held his forearm for a few minutes and could tell what his problems are. And went on to stick a few ANF patches (top photo). They allegedly contain organic cabon fragments which store and emit radio frequency. The patches has to be kept on for 3 days. His verdict; it didn't help with anything. The cost? $300+ for 15min accessment and patches pasting. I suggest anyone who wants to give it a go to spend more time doing fact finding before deciding if it's the best for you.
