If you intend to ride electric scooters or electric bikes in public spaces, you need to pass this test by the end of the year 2021.

The fee for the test is at a discounted price of $5 until the 31 Dec 2021

Yes, more should be done to improve barrier free access.

If you walk around the hdb neighbourhood, it is very difficult even for those without visual impairment to navigate without ending in dead ends or pillars.

We were alerted to a rider using a Personal Mobility Aid (PMA) on a road a few days back. This is not allowed. Our officers managed to apprehend the able-bodied rider today and her device was impounded. 🚛
Those who flout the rule may face a fine up to $2,000 and/or imprisonment up to 3 months

⚠️ PMAs allow those with mobility issues to travel more freely and live an active life. Others should not abuse these devices.

Let’s all do our part to ride responsibly, observe the rules and maintain the safety of our public paths and roads 🙏🏻
