That's a wrap on Singapore's 22nd National Kendo Competition! A huge thank you to all the participants for bringing your heart and energy to every match. We hope you walked away not just with memories, but with new friendships, lessons, and a little more love for the art of kendo.

To all our volunteers and supporters, this event would not have been possible without your help. We're so grateful. 💙

Happy to have hosted our visiting guests from Yamaguchi, Japan — Kobayashi Isao Sensei, Takano Yoshiyuki Sensei, and Oishi Hiroshi Sensei over the weekend.

It was a valuable session that reminded everyone what it takes to be a great kendoka.

We wish the Senseis a safe return and hopefully, we can meet again.

Special thanks to Jiro Okamoto Sensei for the introduction and also Singapore Management University Kendo Club for hosting the visiting Senseis on Saturday 🙂

We fought hard, stood together, and brought home some incredible results for Team Singapore!

• Team Singapore: Ladies Team 2nd Runner-Up
• Jeffery: Men's Category (3 Dan & below) 2nd Runner-Up
• Stella: Women's Category (No limitation) 2nd Runner-Up
• Zhiqing: Women's Category (No limitation) Fighting Spirit Award

And that’s a wrap on our first AOKC! 🇸🇬

A huge thank you to our coaches, players, supporters, and everyone who dedicated their time and effort to this journey. Your commitment and support made it all possible.

We’re also proud to celebrate our Women’s Team for securing 2nd Runner-Up at the championship! 🥉👏

This is only the beginning. We’ll take the lessons, memories, and experience gained from this tournament and come back stronger than ever.
