Smashing time at the “Connect & Play” event! 🏸✨

It was incredible seeing local residents come together to learn new skills, guided by certified coaches from Papago and fueled by support from Eagle Brand.

Huge thanks to the People’s Association, Tanglin Community Club, and Goldhill Residents’ Network for partnering with us to make this happen 🤍

At the recent JK Tech Long-Term Athlete Development Programme (LTADP) ceremony, former national players Jin Yujia and Insyirah Khan were recognised under the Post-Career Gratuity Programme, receiving payouts as they embark on the next chapter of their journeys beyond competitive badminton.

Throughout their careers, both athletes have proudly contributed to Singapore badminton, earning medals at the SEA Games and Commonwealth Games while serving as role models for younger players. From Jin Yujia’s rise to a career-high world ranking of No. 16 in women’s doubles to Insyirah Khan’s remarkable consistency across five consecutive SEA Games campaigns, their achievements have left a lasting mark on the sport.

In this video, they share a few words of advice for the next generation of athletes — lessons learned from years of dedication, perseverance and representing Singapore on the international stage.

Thank you, Jin Yujia and Insyirah Khan, for your contributions to Singapore badminton, and we wish you all the best in the journeys ahead. ❤️

Last weekend, we celebrated the second batch of recipients under the JK Tech Long-Term Athlete Development Programme (LTADP) Scholarship, recognising 13 promising young student-athletes who have shown dedication, potential and a commitment to excellence both on and off the court.

Made possible through the support of JK Technology, the LTADP Scholarship provides aspiring athletes with access to financial assistance, overseas competition opportunities, coaching expertise and sports science support, helping them pursue their sporting ambitions while continuing their education.

The ceremony also recognised the contributions of former national players Jin Yujia and Insyirah Khan, who were honoured under the Post-Career Gratuity Programme following their retirement from competitive badminton. The programme provides meaningful financial support to athletes as they transition into the next chapter of their lives, recognising their years of service and achievements while representing Singapore on the international stage.

Together, these initiatives reflect a shared commitment to supporting athletes throughout their journey, from nurturing young talent to celebrating and safeguarding the future of those who have proudly worn the Singapore jersey.

Congratulations to all scholarship recipients. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for each of you. 🇸🇬

🥈 A Valiant Run for Loh Kean Yew 🥈

Loh Kean Yew finished as runner-up at the KFF Singapore Badminton Open 2026 after a hard-fought men’s singles final against Alex Lanier.

Backed by a passionate home crowd, Loh took the opening game 21-17 and looked poised for a memorable title run, but Lanier claimed the next two games 21-15, 21-14 to secure the championship.

It wasn’t the result Loh was hoping for, but reaching the final on home soil and delivering another week of high-quality badminton is a testament to his determination and fighting spirit. Thank you for giving the fans so many moments to cheer for throughout the tournament. ❤️🇸🇬
