💔Sometimes, one of the hardest parts of cancer is deciding who to tell.

Not because you’re ashamed.
Not because you’re in denial.

But because you don’t want everything to change.

You don’t want people to look at you differently.
You don’t want every conversation to revolve around cancer.
You don’t want to see pity in someone’s eyes or feel their fear reflected back at you.

Sometimes, you just want to be treated like yourself.

✨ Cancer may become part of your story, but it doesn’t become your entire identity.

And it’s okay to protect your peace while you decide who gets access to that part of your journey.

Whatever you choose, your feelings are valid.

👉As a Cancer Coach and Breast Cancer Survivor, I limit or avoid these 5 foods/drinks❌1. Sodas (regular and diet): high in sugar and/or high in artificial ingredients.❌2. Processed Meats: deli meats and cold cuts undergo processes like salting, curing, and smoking. These meats are classified as carcinogens by the World Health Organization (WHO), meaning there’s strong evidence that they can cause certain cancers.❌3. Ultra-Processed Foods: These foods typically include a high amount of additives that can have various negative effects on your health. They are often high in unhealthy fats, sugars, and sodium.❌4. Deep Fried Foods: Deep frying involves cooking food in a large amount of fat or oil at a high temperature. This process can create harmful compounds like trans fats and acrylamide, which have been linked to chronic diseases like heart disease and cancer.❌5. Alcohol: Alcohol has been classified as a carcinogen by the WHO since 1988. Importantly, the WHO has recently stated: “When it comes to alcohol consumption, there is no safe amount that does not affect health”.Your health is your wealth, let’s invest wisely!
