THE COMBO:
1️⃣ Double Right Side Kick, Run
2️⃣ Repeat on Left
3️⃣ Double Leg Shoot, Run
4️⃣ Repeat on other side

Make it harder: High knees on the run + shoulders IN the water on the shoots for control. Move your arms!

DO IT:
40s WORK / 20s REST x 4 rounds

👂🏊 Why Can Water Stay Trapped in Your Ear After Swimming?

Have you ever felt like your hearing is muffled after getting out of the pool?

It’s usually because water becomes trapped in the external ear canal—not because it passes beyond your eardrum.

🔬 Water often remains in the external ear canal, the small passage leading to the eardrum. Because of the canal’s shape and the surface tension of water, a small amount can stay inside, creating a temporary feeling of fullness or reduced hearing.

As a result:
✅ Sounds may seem quieter or muffled.
✅ You may feel pressure or a sensation of water moving inside the ear.
✅ In most cases, the water drains out naturally within minutes.

💡 Did you know?
If water remains trapped repeatedly, it creates a moist environment where bacteria—and sometimes fungi—can grow more easily, increasing the risk of swimmer’s ear (otitis externa).

To help prevent it:
✔️ Tilt your head to each side after swimming.
✔️ Gently pull the outer ear to help water drain.
✔️ Dry your outer ear with a clean towel.
❌ Avoid inserting cotton swabs deep into the ear, as they can push debris deeper and irritate the delicate skin of the ear canal.

Swimming is great for your body—but taking care of your ears helps keep every swim comfortable and safe.
