Étude Dance Studio was established in 2009 by its Artistic Director, Tan Joni (RAD RTS), with the vision of bringing the appreciation and love of ballet to people of all ages. We understand the different needs and abilities of students - from young aspiring dancers to regular leisure dancers - who take up the art form at various stages in life, providing them with training under the Royal Academy

of Dance (UK) syllabus and our own Adult Ballet Syllabus. Tan Joni is accredited with the Royal Academy of Dance’s Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. She has performed in numerous musicals and dance performances, including performances with the Singapore Dance Theatre's Nutcracker (2005, 2008) and Coppelia (2008) in the corps de ballet. Joni also studied Music at 'A' Levels and is a Psychology graduate from NUS.
