CLOSURE OF UBER SPORTS ORTO ON 12 JUNE 2023

Uber Sports ORTO will cease operations on Monday, 12 June 2023 to allow for the completion of reinstatement work before returning the outlet to the landlord.

As you are probably aware, ORTO Leisure Park will close on 30 June 2023 to make way for planned housing developments.

Dear Players & Friends,
With effect from Tuesday, 18 January 2022, Uber Sports ORTO will be offering 5v5 Futsal under the Team Sports VDS+ART pilot programme.
-This programme requires a group of 10 fully vaccinated players to perform a self-administered ART Test at the outlet.
-When you book a pitch, you will receive our Guidelines, which outline the necessary safety measures, protocols, and procedures to ensure player compliance.
-The customer (hirer) who reserves the pitch must be a member of the 10-player group.

Rate/Booking Information:
-A minimum of 2 hours for $180 (social game, 5v5 format).
-Players must cease play 15 minutes prior to the end of the booking in order to exit the pitch/outlet promptly.
-Players are required to bring their own ART Test Kit.

Payment Mode: Only via PayNow when booking a pitch.
Note: By paying for the pitch, you and all of your players are deemed to have agreed to adhere to all of the terms in our Guidelines, including all safety precautions and mandatory rules imposed by the authorities.

Uber Sports is looking for solid candidates to join us. Here is an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a part-time/ full-time Sports Facilities Operation Officer.

Job Title: Sports Facility Operation Officer (Full / Part-Time)
Working hours / Shift Information: Weekdays and Weekends 8am-5pm or 5pm-2am, Flexible Work Time Arrangement
Work Location: Punggol, ORTO@ Khatib, Woodlands

Job Description & Responsibilities
• Attends and handles enquiries and phone calls
• Makes reservations for facilities, activities, and events if any
• Attend the bookings according to the reservation
• Ensures that facilities and respective equipment meet the operating standards
• All general administrative tasks at the outlet
• Make sure the facilities are cleaned and sanitized before the booking
• Implement safety measures like SafeEntry, temperature taking, safety distancing, pitch sanitization.

Requirement:
• Able to commit at least 3 days’ workweek for the part-timer
• Able to commit at least 5 days’ workweek for the full-timer
• Able to work on both weekends and PH if required
• Able to work on rotating shifts (morning shift, 8am-5pm or night shift, 5pm-2am)

On the job training will be provided and no prior experience is required. Candidates of all ages are welcome.

Salary for part-timer: $8 per hour
Salary for full-timer: Depend on experience & negotiable during the interview

Our new rates for only 8 players to a pitch (Reserves, supporters etc not allowed in the venue):
Peak (6pm-2am on Weekdays, and whole-day on Weekends and Public Holidays):
5-Aside: $80 per hour
7-Aside: $100 per hour.

Off-Peak (8am-6pm on Weekdays):
5-Aside: $50 per hour
7-Aside: $80 per hour.

Payment via PayNow when you make your booking.

The safety measures and mandatory rules will still be in force to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Customers are required to observe them.

For now, a perfect time for training, drills & kickaround

Dear Players & Friends,

We are aware that it would be impossible to have a competitive game of Futsal at this moment due to the restriction of not more that 5 players in a pitch.

However, some players are using this time to do training, drills and even kickaround to stay fit.

We have reduced our rates to $50 per hr (5 pax, off-peak) and $65 per hr (5 pax, peak) to make it affordable for you to have your Futsal activity in the safety of your own pitch.
