ZONE3 Wetsuits Care Tips
More Tips :
🧼 After Every Use
1. Rinse thoroughly with fresh, cool water
• Salt, chlorine, and sand can damage neoprene over time.
• Avoid using hot water — it breaks down the material faster.
2. Use wetsuit shampoo occasionally
• A gentle, neoprene-safe cleaner removes odor and bacteria without harming the suit.
• Avoid harsh detergents or bleach.
3. Check for debris in zippers and seals
• Rinse off any sand or grit that can cause wear or corrosion.
⸻
🌬️ Drying
4. Drip dry in the shade
• Turn inside out first, then back after the inner layer dries.
• Avoid direct sunlight — UV rays degrade neoprene and fade colors.
• Never use a dryer, iron, or hang near heat sources.
5. Hang properly
• Use a wide, padded hanger or fold at the waist over a thick rod to prevent shoulder stretch.
⸻
🧳 Storage
6. Store in a cool, dry place
• Avoid folding tightly; keep it loosely hung or laid flat.
• Keep away from oil, gasoline, or solvents that can damage neoprene.
7. Do not leave in the car or under the sun
• Excessive heat can cause the material to delaminate or lose flexibility.

🧵 Maintenance
8. Check seams and zippers regularly
• Repair small tears early using wetsuit cement or neoprene glue.
• Lubricate zippers with silicone-based products to keep them smooth.
9. Avoid putting it on when it’s dry and sticky
• A bit of water or a wetsuit lubricant helps it slide on easier, reducing stress on seams.
