Let's shine a light on mental health, for ourselves and for those we love. π§ β¨
Today, on World Mental Health Day, it's important to remember that nurturing our mental health is just as crucial as taking care of our physical health. In our fast-paced lives, it's easy to overlook the daily stresses and anxieties that can build up over time. As parents, kids and friends, we have the power to make a difference by being present, supportive, and understanding.
Here are a few cues to help you notice and support someone who might be struggling:
π"I notice you seem a bit down. Is there anything you'd like to talk about?"
π"It's okay to not feel okay. I'm here for you if you need to chat or just need someone to listen."
π"Let's take a break and do something relaxing together. Sometimes, a change of scenery can help clear your head."
π"Remember, it's okay to ask for help. There are people who care about you and want to support you."
By paying attention to those around us and offering a helping hand, we can create a more compassionate and supportive community for everyone. Let's prioritise mental health and make a positive impact on the world.
