Some moments from Lisa’s competition in Japan during the weekend of the 10th May 2026.

Lisa finished 5th at the Tokyo qualification tournament for the All Japan Boys and Girls Karate National Championships.

This competition is one of the toughest youth Karate events in Japan, with only the top 4 athletes from each prefecture qualifying for All Japan.

Lisa previously won this tournament in 2023 and 2024, and finished 3rd in 2025 πŸ‘

She was also 2nd in All Japan in 2024 πŸ† and reached the Best 16 in Japan in 2025.

Another valuable experience and great fights against some of the best young Karate athletes in Japan.

πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ Very proud of Lisa for her performance in Japan on the weekend of the 10th May 2026.

She finished 5th in a very high level competition which serves as the Tokyo qualification tournament for the All Japan Boys and Girls Karate National Championships.

Lisa won this competition in both 2023 and 2024, and finished 3rd in 2025 πŸ‘πŸ₯‹

In Japan, only the top 4 athletes from each prefecture qualify for the All Japan Championships, so even participating already means the standard is extremely high.

Lisa also finished 2nd in All Japan in 2024 πŸ† and reached the Best 16 in 2025, finishing 9th overall.

Another great experience and another strong performance against some of the best young Karate athletes in Japan.

Well done Lisa! Oss!

πŸŽ‰πŸ₯‹ Grading Celebration πŸ₯‹πŸŽ‰

On 25th April, we had 30 students taking part in one of our biggest gradings so far. The level keeps growing, and it is great to see our Karateka progressing with such consistency and dedication.

Our young Karateka stepped on the floor and showed commitment, focus, and true Karate spirit.

Every belt earned reflects hours of practice, discipline, and the courage to push forward.

πŸ’ͺ⛑️ Labour Day

Today, we recognize the value of hard work, discipline, and commitment.
The same principles that build strong careers also build strong Karate.

Every repetition matters.
Every effort counts.
Every step forward is earned.

At Karate Nation, we train not just for technique, but for mindset: consistency, respect, and resilience.

Enjoy the well deserved rest today, then come back stronger.

We are Karate!

🌸🐣 Happy Easter! πŸ₯‹

Easter is a reminder that growth comes after challenge.

In Karate, every setback, every tough training, every moment of doubt… builds something stronger inside us.

Today, we celebrate renewal, resilience, and the mindset to always come back better.

Keep pushing. Keep growing. Keep showing up.

We are Karate!

Good Friday ✝️

A moment to pause.
A moment to reflect.
A moment to reset.

Good Friday reminds us that strength is not always loud.

In Karate, the most powerful progress often happens in silence.
In the repetitions no one sees.
In the discipline to stay the path when it feels hard.

Today is about humility, patience, and inner strength.
The same values we carry every time we step onto the dojo floor.

We slow down.
We breathe. 🌬
We move forward with purpose.

We are Karate.

πŸ“… Competition Day: Sunday, 29th March πŸ₯‹πŸ”₯

6 students from Karate Nation stepped onto the tatami in a competition that had 288 participants from 18 different Karate organisations. Each one brought courage, focus, and composure, showing not just their skills, but their heart.

πŸ† Medal Tally
7 medals in total
4 Gold πŸ₯‡
3 Bronze πŸ₯‰

πŸ’‘ What Stood Out
It wasn’t just the medals.
It was the way they handled pressure.
The way they stayed calm and made sharp decisions.
The way they fought with spirit until the very last moment.
This is what Karate teaches us: discipline, resilience, and respect.

🌟 Beyond the Medals
Every medal is a symbol of hard work, but the bigger victory is what we see in their character. The calm under pressure, the determination to improve, the respect for their opponents.

πŸ’ͺ Message to Students
This is what we train for. Not just victories, but growth. Not just medals, but lessons that go far beyond the tatami.
To every student, whether you won a medal or not, your effort matters. Keep pushing, keep learning, keep being the best version of yourself.

πŸ₯‹Self Defence Workshop at HER Wellness Club

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to share my approach to Self Defence in such a unique environment.

HER Wellness Club is not just a fitness space
It is a place built around awareness, balance, and empowerment.

That made this session even more meaningful for me.

During the workshop, I focused on what really matters:
- How to stay aware
- How to protect yourself without hesitation
- How to react effectively when it counts

Thank you for the trust, the energy, and the quality of the exchange throughout the workshop.

Always a privilege for me to share, learn, and grow.
