Sthlm Bike 2026!

What a fantastic day on the bike! My daughter Tuva and I got to experience Stockholm from the saddle together with 1,000 other riders — at our own pace and completely stress-free.

A fantastic 48 km route, minimal traffic (with some sections completely closed off just for us), plenty of amazing volunteers along the way, and perfect weather all added up to a solid 10/10 experience!

Följ med på en två timmar lång guidad cykeltur genom Uppsala när den tidiga hösten gör sitt intåg. Vi cyklar i lugnt tempo genom både historiska och moderna kvarter och passerar självklart Domkyrkan, slottet och Universitetshuset. Längs vägen upptäcker vi stadens äldre och mer moderna historia, universitetsmiljöer, årummet, uppskattade smultronställen och den stadsnära naturen.

Mitt mål är att du ska upptäcka något nytt om din egen stad. Genom berättelser, historiska sammanhang och oväntade miljöer hoppas jag ge nya perspektiv på Uppsala – och inspirera dig att fortsätta utforska staden även efter turen.

Och självklart stannar vi för fika längs vägen.

Lördagarna 5 och 19 sep 10.00 till ca 12.30

After one year of weekend and evening studies, I finally received my authorization as a tourist guide for Uppsala and Uppsala County.

North of Gävle you find Norrlandets kustled that takes you along the coast with old and new summer houses, beaches and a few places to stay for fika. Or at Skärgårdskrogen that served the best lunch so far this summer.

Thanks to everyone who joined me on the guided bike tour around beautiful Ulleråker. Ulleråker has a fascinating history, spanning from a state-owned liquor distillery established in the late 1700s to more than 200 years of caring for—or, at times, simply locking up—people with mental illness.

After work, today’s reconnaissance tour included the medieval church and pagan burial mounds in Gamla Uppsala, gelato at Ulva Mill, stretches of the Swedish countryside, and a big guy I encountered when I got a bit off track in the forests around Börje.
