🇧🇷 We're super excited to announce our new 7 weeks progressiv zouk courses on Fridays starting on the 10th of April!

⭐ The Beginner course is perfect for those who want to try out the dance and learn the basics, as well as for more experienced zoukers who want to clean up their technique.
⭐⭐ The Continuation course is for zoukers who are already comfortable with most of the foundations in zouk and want to continue exploring this amazing dance.

👩‍🎓 We follow the methodology and course content laid out by zouk masters Bruno & Raiza Gallardo. Our focus is on a clean technique, to create a comfortable and flowy dance, and already from the start embodying the muscle memory needed for the advanced movements in zouk. While not forgetting the fun and playfulness that brought us to zouk in the first place.

💫 No partner required, we will rotate partners during the classes. If you only want to dance with your partner that is also perfectly ok.

🥳 And of course the zouk socials continue until summer every other Friday, on even weeks!

This Friday, 20/2, the zouk social at iDance will be not only longer than usual - but also completely free of charge! 😄

The social is at 20-24 o'clock at iDance Söder, Tjurbergsgatan 27. 📍

✨ Tomorrow our BRICK Level 3 Stockholm Practice Group will kick-off our training!

🕺💃 BRICK Level 3 (L3) is an improvement course developed by Bruno & Raiza Galhardo, for zoukers who want to dive deeper into the technical details of zouk in order to perform advanced movements comfortably, with precision and ease. Prerequisites for BRICK L3 is 2 years or more experience of zouk as well as the completion of BRICK L1 and BRICK L2.

🤓 BRICK L1 focuses on the technique in footwork, L2 on technique in headmovements and shared axis, and L3 on on/off axis tecniques as well as utilizing momentum in movements and headmovements. L3 covers movements such as counter balance variations including with headmovements, Toalha variations, and Single leg spin variations including with headmovements.

👩‍🎓 BRICK L1, L2 & L3 all exists in two formats: One week in person (30h), or hybrid with online courses and a weekend in person (12h). This fb-event "BRICK L3 Stockholm Practice Group 2026" are for those of us in Stockholm who wish to meet up and practice the online content this spring, before attending a weekend with Bruno & Raiza in person.

🗓️ When?
The practice group meets every other Wednesday evening, on even weeks, starting 18th of February. At 18.30-21.00 o'clock.

💵 Cost?
The practice group is for free. But the BRICK L3 online course videos cost, and can be found on Bruno & Raiza’s website.

📚 Schedule?
The practice group practices the content of the BRICK L3 online videos. The practice sessions focuses on the partnerwork exercises, and participants practice the solo material and body awareness exercises before they meet for the practice group sessions.
