At Batang Europa, we take pride in taking care of our players.
We choose the harder path by spending 18 days in the same accommodations with our selected players who will represent us at the NBTC & Global Hoops. From the moment the parents leave their sons in our care, the responsibility is on the coaches to look after them — to make sure they are well-fed, well-rested, and never going hungry.
We wake them up early in the morning so we can all have breakfast together before our first practice of the day. We also make sure the players understand that they cannot simply go wherever they want. Their activities and movements are always guided and supervised by the coaches, and we make sure the parents are informed about our rules and routines.
This is a tough responsibility, and we have to be honest about it. Taking care of our own children can already be challenging — imagine taking care of 10–12 players, each with different personalities, attitudes, and needs.
But we are proud to say that, for the past two years, we have handled this responsibility to the best of our ability. It may not always be perfect, but Batang Europa has always done its best to take care of the players and make sure they are safe, healthy, disciplined, and comfortable while they are under our care.
At the same time, we give the parents the peace of mind and the freedom to spend their time taking care of the things they need to do, knowing that their sons are in good hands.
So, to all the parents, we kindly ask you to also be considerate of the coaches. We love what we do, but it is not easy. Taking care of your children for 18 days is a big responsibility, and we put a lot of time, energy, patience, and heart into making sure they are well taken care of.
Thank you for your trust and understanding. We are all working toward the same goal — giving our players the best experience possible, both on and off the court.
