For me that's the limiting beliefs still haunting me at times, especially when I get run down, sick, or tired. It’s like they’ve been waiting in the shadows for the moment my guard is down. In those times, it’s easy to slip back into old patterns and convince myself that the progress I’ve made isn’t real.

But the truth is, those beliefs are just echoes of the past. They aren’t the reality I’m building now. And every time I choose clarity and alignment over fear, I loosen their grip a little more.

There is no “set it and forget it” when it comes to balance. Life changes. Priorities shift. Some seasons will demand more from you as a human, and others will allow more room for your work.

I have had to revisit this over and over again - after big moves, after having kids, after health challenges, and even after wins that looked great on paper but left me drained.

The goal is not to get it “right” once. The goal is to keep shaping your business so it bends with your life instead of breaking you to fit it.

Your career will never grow in a straight line because your life doesn’t either.

Depending on the season you are in, your capacity to pour into your work will change. That is not failure, that is reality. Especially as women, our focus and energy shift as we move through different chapters.

For me, the postpartum season was one of those chapters. My hands were always full. My schedule revolved around feedings and naps. Deep work was off the table.

But I found ways to keep my mind sharp and connected to my field. I listened to podcasts while nursing. Played YouTube videos while folding laundry. Let learning flow into the cracks of my day instead of forcing a routine that did not fit that season.

It was not about doing everything. It was about staying close to my craft so that when the season shifted, I could hit the ground running.

For years I waited for momentum to “find” me. I thought if I just got the right idea, met the right person, or had the perfect timing, things would finally click into place.

But here’s what I’ve learned - momentum doesn’t just show up at your door one day. You build it. Brick by brick. Action by action. Even on the days you feel like nothing is moving.

Momentum comes from showing up, doing the thing, and stacking small wins until the weight shifts in your favor. And once it starts rolling, it’s a lot easier to keep it going.

I have a 1 hour ritual that I do daily that helps keep my momentum. It is a great resource to get you out of a funk!

💀 The post-Halloween candy crash is real ☠️

You know that sugar high you ride on October 31, followed by the oof today, November 1?

That used to be me in business. I chased the big bursts - the all-night work sessions, the huge launches, the “I’ll change everything starting Monday” kind of energy. And honestly, I still kind of am. That’s just part of who I am.

The difference now is I’ve built the scaffolding - the systems that keep things moving even if I, the actual me, need to rest, reset, or focus on something else. My business doesn’t crash just because I do.

Consistency compounds. The magic is in the follow-through, not the frenzy.

Every “yes” felt like chasing opportunity, but really… I was just summoning burnout.

The eerie thing? A calendar full of commitments can hide an empty life.
