A spirited effort from Doha Knights CC wasn't enough as Galle Cricket Club secured a 25-run victory after posting a commanding 195/4 in 16 overs.

Chasing 196, Doha Knights CC fought hard and finished on 170/6. Malith Ruwan led the chase with a brilliant 49 (32), while Jeewaka Samarakoon added a quick 32 (18) and Chamal smashed 27 (11) to keep the hopes alive until the final overs.

Earlier, Riflan Kaize starred for Galle Cricket Club with a sensational 76 (34), well supported by Ahsan Nazoor's unbeaten 58 (36).

Despite the result, Doha Knights CC showed great determination and fighting spirit throughout the match. We regroup, learn, and come back stronger in the next game. 💪

A disciplined all-round performance saw Doha Knights CC secure a 12-run victory over Super Friends.

Batting first, Doha Knights CC posted 131/9 in 16 overs. Sameera Jayaranga anchored the innings with a classy 39 (26), while Udesh added 35 (29) and Malith Ruwan provided the late fireworks with an unbeaten 29 (17)*.

In reply, Super Friends were restricted to 119/8 in 15 overs despite fighting knocks from Rafi (40) and Rifas (33). The bowlers held their nerve, with Nilo starring with 3 wickets, while Dimuthu Jaya (2 wickets) and Isuru (2 wickets) played crucial supporting roles.
