This morning during our rounds, we found this little fawn resting quietly under an Azinheira tree. It was completely alone, and even after waiting for quite some time, there was still no sign of its mother.

Worried that it might become too weak, we brought it back to the farm to look after it.

One of the most special things about life on the farm is that you never know what nature will bring you each day. For children, these moments are also the best kind of classroom — getting close to animals, learning to respect life, and understanding that nature is not something that only exists in books. It is all around us. 🦌🌿
