Well-done to our Over 45s today as they came away with a well deserved 5-2 victory over Liverpool visitors Maghull Masters. A tight 1st half had the game tied at 2-2 at half time with goals from Mark with a lovely Left footed finish and Tom who ran through to slot home. As the 2nd half progressed our superior fitness put us on the front foot. Jurre scored a lovely half volley after a great 1st touch from a corner. This was followed soon after with a decent strike from the edge of the box from Chris and finished off with a sublime chip into the top corner from Stephen. A clean free flowing game. Thanks to Maghull for the game. Our thoughts turn to our next game against another English side Durley Vets over 35s next Sunday in Ferreiras at 10.30am. All Support Welcome

A great game today as our lads recorded a 5-3 win against our Irish Visitors Carrick Town. A Hatrick from Thijs plus goals from Diogo and Nathan. Could have had a few more but nice to get the win. A good clean game followed by a lovely lunch at Olive Garden hosted by Dawn and Jonny . Well-done lads👍

Our Over 35s Team will host Irish Team Carrick Town F.C on Friday at 12pm in Portimao. Come on Down to support the Boys or if your Irish your welcome to cheer on the Opposition. Should be a decent game.

Our Over 35s played their 1st 11's game of 2026 yesterday and came out on the right side of a 7-3 scoreline away V Armacào Vets.
After a shaky start and conceding a sloppy 1st goal the team grew in confidence and started to play some decent football. A Rodolfo goal following a nice assist from Mark got us underway, roles were reversed for the 2nd following a lovely cross to the back post from Rodolfo, Mark applied the finishing touch with a fine left footed finish. After that we began to dominate play and Man of the Match Thijs came into his own scoring 3 fine goals( 1 of which we managed to get on video). We were constantly able to get in behind the opposition defence with loads of pace upfront aided by the pinpoint long range passing of Ian. Rodolfo managed another goal and we got a 7th(I'm sure?)At 7-1 we were cruising and despite 2 late goals from the opposition it proved a comfortable win. Well-done to the whole squad with notable Mentions for Ian who along with Kyle marshalled the backline superbly. Scott Pryde whose calm influence kept the midfield ticking along and Thijs who was on fire .

We held our 1st mini 8 a side Tournament of 2026 today with 2 teams representing Carveiro and 2 Representing Alvor . 4 well matched teams played some quality football with Alvor Yellows coming out as victors with 2 wins and a draw. Thank you to All the lads that represented Carveiro and Alvor.. The Tournament was played in a great Spirit and seemed to be enjoyed by all👍
