Move Sports recently organised a four-day sports tour in Lisbon for a school from the United Kingdom, bringing together around 40 young athletes and 5 staff members from Boys’ U11 and U12/U13 teams.

During their stay, the group enjoyed a full football and cultural programme, with eight matches against local teams, a Pro Training session at Benfica Campus and the chance to watch part of a training session from Benfica’s women’s team.

They also visited the Benfica Stadium and Museum, took part in a football performance experience with technology-based challenges, enjoyed a surf lesson, explored Lisbon and finished one of the city’s most classic stops with a pastel de nata in Belém.

Between the hotel by the beach, the local opposition, the training environment and the time spent discovering the city, this tour gave the players a different way to experience football, travel and team life together.

After the 18th edition of the Portugal Rugby Youth Festival in March, the Autumn Series gives teams another opportunity to experience international rugby in Lisbon, with a competitive format designed for clubs looking for meaningful matches, new opponents and the spirit of the festival.
