Today was a full day of Coaching sessions and there was a comun theme, even though the stories being told during the sessions were very different

I enjoy recognising patterns and I love working with that recognition. One of the reoccurring pattern was that we would start off the session on one specific topic and by the end of the session the unconscious would make surprise appearance and the tables would be turned. Most of the times the end topic had nothing to do with what we started with. 😉

A had a coaching client last week that walked through the door with a very specific request. He was wanting to explore "radical acceptance". A smile crossed my face when he mentioned those 2 words and it took me back to my own past, when I also wanted something similar.

My first question to him was, "what does that specifically mean to you?"
And what a glorious session it was 😊

Transformation is the word that keeps popping into my mind and to be aware of my body sensation without the constant, annoying and sometimes excessively positive internal dialogue, telling me what I should do or not do, I am tired, I am very tired of the BS that I create and cultivate. My body is tired and I am tired of feeling tired.

I am quite happy with my little rant, I feel more light, what ever that may mean. That is the 1rst step of transformation. I transform daily.

Lets see what the next days bring me.

Gostaria de apresentar mais uma parceria importante para a CoachInk.

Conheço o Bruno Rodrigues Pilates desde 1998, quando ambos iniciámos as nossas carreiras na indústria do fitness. É atualmente o Diretor Técnico da Shift You e responsável pela formação de instrutores de Pilates Clássico, um curso muito completo em Portugal. Participou da minha primeira Certificação em PNL e ficou fã, utilizando as técnicas nas aulas particulares, de grupo e na formação de Pilates, com resultados incríveis.

A certificação de PNL adaptada ao Fitness é uma parceria que está a ser desenvolvida há vários anos e finalmente será lançado em fevereiro de 2025. Estou muito entusiasmada com este projeto e teremos mais informações em breve.

I would like to present another important partnership for CoachInk.

I've known since 1998, when we both started our careers in the fitness industry. He is currently the Technical Director of .pt and responsible for training Classic Pilates instructors, a very complete course in Portugal. He participated in my first NLP Certification and became a fan, using the techniques in private classes, group classes and in Pilates training, with incredible results.

The NLP certification adapted to Fitness is a partnership that has been in the works for several years and will finally be launched in February 2025. I am very excited about this project and we will have more information soon.

Eu conheci o em 2006 no mundo do Fitness, e desde logo ficámos amigos.
Ele é o fundador da , onde tem como objectivo explorar o potencial humano a nível internacional, criando imersões transformadoras no Fitness e Fisioterapia, em Portugal e no Brasil.

O Fernando acompanhou a minha aventura na PNL, e foi a 1ª pessoa a convidar-me, em 2017, para apresentar um workshop de Introdução à PNL, e desde daí já trabalhámos com 9 grupos fantásticos, com a mente muito aberta, para explorar mundos diferentes.

É um privilégio trabalhar com ele e espero ir ao Brasil dar formação no futuro próximo 😉

I met in 2006 in the world of Fitness, and we became fast friends He is the founder of , where he aims to explore human potential on an international level, creating transformative immersions in Fitness and Physiotherapy, in Portugal and Brazil. Fernando followed my adventure in NLP and was the first person to invite me, in 2017, to present an Introduction to NLP workshop, and since then we have worked with 9 fantastic groups, with very open minds, to explore different worlds

It's a privilege to work with him and I hope to go to Brazil to provide training in the near future 😉

In October/ November of last year, I was gripped by a sudden kind of sadness which I decided to pay attention to. I realised that I wanted to take some time off from social media and I had several intentions for doing so.

First, was a professional reason. Re-Branding Coachink became clear to me, and I realised that I refused to rush this process, like I had in the past. Eliminate the noise that surrounded me became essential and establishing clear boundaries in my work became a priority. Something else also occurred to me, I wanted Coachink to be linked to my extensive past in which I worked for more than 20 years in the Fitness industry. I wanted the Coaching and physical aspect of human dynamics be explored as a whole system, as one.

Second and most eye opening, with a lot of learnings about human behaviour on a personal and collective level was I decided consciously to become a full-time caretaker. I am stunned at people’s reactions, projections and comments to my decision, without knowing the full story. That one was a difficult one to navigate and creating a safe area for me was extremely important. I am extremely grateful to my support system of family and friends. In these moments actions were more important than words. Once again THANK YOU

Finally, I concluded that focusing on me and my health on several levels was an action of love towards myself, especial now that I am 50 years old and I am in perimenopause, a subject matter which is mostly ignored. I have been educating myself on this subject and it is mind-blowing the impact it has on all areas of my life, especial the areas I mentioned above. I am taking the opportunity to thank my dear friend Teresa Manafaia, a very competent professional with extensive experience in preventive health, metabolism and orthomolecular nutrion. who has helped me with this important phase of my life. I highly recommend her work.

I will be posting up dates in the coming weeks of people and brands that I have established partnerships with and more information on my re-branding.
