Algarve Running Camp

We have 2 NEW 7 night running camps added.
5 SPACES LEFT for April 13th-20th 2024
Plus now Sept 21th-28th & Nov 2nd-9th 2024 (16 spaces for both available to begin with)
All with accommodation, all meals, excursions, activities and airport transfers included in Praia da Falesia, in the stunning Algarve, Portugal.

We've had a few running clubs looking for camps later in the year and many running London Marathon who couldn't make our April camp, so we have 2 additional ones for you to join!

For all abilities, our trainers and coaches will adapt your training to your level to ensure you aren't over-worked but still feel that you have pushed yourself.

Track, road, beach, cross country, cliff top... various terrains to test yourselves, some of which will be based at Victoria Sport and Beach hotel with 1km to 10km runs come the end of camp to participate in.

Our camp includes:

🏖 1 free day to yourself to relax or explore
🚕 Transfers at 2 different times on arrival and departure to Faro airport

🥐🍳🍌 Breakfast - bread/toast, pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereal, oats, egg (scrambled, boiled and fried), selection of meat items and more.
🥪🥗🌯 Lunch (ingredients to make your own sandwiches, wraps, salads or other to take with you for the day)
🍝🍛🍗 Dinner - meat, fish, vegetables, grains, pasta, sauces and more to self serve plus some set dishes which can be selected in advance
☕️🧃🍊Unlimited water, juice, tea, coffee and locally-grown oranges.

We have some accommodation options:

🤸🏻 Private - a room to yourself

If you are a couple or friends booking, we can arrange a room so you are together.

Are you, or do you know, an experienced running coach, interested in leading groups of 15 to 30 in the Algarve in 2024 and perhaps beyond?

Flights, transfers, accommodation & meals provided, plus, an agreed fee for the sessions.

You'll be required to deliver various running drills and exercises, along with providing support and encouragement to all those participating who will be of various levels in their running journey.

Some 0k to 5k, some regular 10k, some training for their first or next half marathons, full marathons, triathlons or ultras.

You'll be working with the groups on various terrains - track, field, road, cross country and sand around Praia da Falesia in The Algarve - at times pushing them to their limits, but within their capabilities.

Being able to assess the levels of each participant during the first day will be important.

Each morning between approximately 8am and 9:15am and late afternoon/early evening between 5pm-6:45pm - Exercises, PT and S&C working for part of the session, with the other half of the session from to include brisk walking, jogging, sprints and running, or a combination, using the various terrains in and around Praia da Falesia.

A positive and encouraging attitude is a must!

Between the sessions will be your own free time, you'll be eating breakfast and dinner with the participants, so you'll be able to socialise also, including during the evening times. You'll be as much a part of the group as anyone.

You will also be free to offer private sessions to any of the participants whilst at camp, or for back in the UK online (or in person if you happen to be local).

Any of your current clients, followers or group members can get 10% off their booking at any of our camps, should they wish to join us in Portugal also.

Our included excursions and activities:

We'll be providing participants with a selection of excursions and activities during their stay. These are all included in the booking!

Benagil Caves - explore on water by speedboat, approximately 45 minutes, followed by a walk along the cliff tops and rocky coastline. Followed by 2-3 hours relaxing and games on the beach.

High Ropes course - Work your way from point to point through the trees by zipwire and overcoming obstacles. 3 levels of courses to choose from - local activity followed by 3-4 hours of free time before dinner to do as you please.

Kayaking tour - 2 hours on the water heading into caves and admiring the beautiful cliff faces whilst giving those arms a little workout. Followed by 2-3 hours of free time on the beach relaxing and some games.

Vilamoura & Quarteira - Option to take a 6km walk from camp along the cliff tops and tracks (approximately 1.5 hours) with excellent photo opportunities. The walkers would leave before those going by bus (45 minutes). You can decide to go by bus or to walk one way or both ways. We will take a look around the Marina of Vilamoura before heading into Quarteira just 500 metres away to explore the town and spend time on the beach. You can use some of this time to yourselves.

Transport is provided for all activities and excursions as a group.

You will have a free day in the middle of camp for you to do as you please. We can recommend local bike and car hire, places to visit and things to do. These are extras not included in your booking.
