We’re back after the summer break! 😍

Rested, recharged, and full of energy, 🔥 we met for another quarterly Project Management Team meeting for the Learning by Moving project.

Time flies – we are already entering the final six months of our project! There is still plenty ahead of us: 👉 new activities, continued cooperation, and 👉 the final steps towards achieving our project goals.

🚀 From syllabus to practice!

From 10–16 July, we had the pleasure of delivering the pilot course "Learning by Moving – Innovative and Interdisciplinary Teaching Methods in Preschool and Primary Education" for students and staff of the Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences.

During the course, participants had the unique opportunity to test the newly developed syllabus in practice, actively engage in every learning activity, and contribute to its final evaluation. Their valuable feedback will help us ensure that the course meets the highest educational standards before its wider implementation.

The week was filled with energy, collaboration, creativity, and, above all, Learning by Moving. Every activity reflected our belief that movement can inspire learning, strengthen engagement, and support interdisciplinary teaching.

👏 A huge thank you to all participants for your enthusiasm, openness, and commitment throughout the course. Your active involvement and insightful feedback have played a key role in shaping the final version of the syllabus.

➡️ What's next? The next step is the implementation of the Learning by Moving course across all partner universities, bringing innovative teaching methods to future educators throughout our international partnership.

Every project is made up of people who bring it to life.

Behind every activity, workshop, discussion, and shared experience, there is a team of dedicated volunteers who contribute their time, ideas, and positive energy. Their commitment helps create a welcoming space where learning, intercultural exchange, and personal growth can truly happen.

This project would not have been the same without their enthusiasm, openness, and willingness to support one another throughout the journey.

Next up in our international line-up at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Aristotle University of Thessaloniki was The Movement – Coordination – Learning, held across May 25th and 26th.

👉 This workshop brought to the table an exciting pedagogical framework straight from Ukraine, designed around the "New Ukrainian School" educational reform.

Participants got their hands dirty with active, competence-oriented group games like "Colored Huts" and the eco-focused "Clean Up the Lawn!".

By exploring these practical tools, everyone saw firsthand how sensory processing and motor abilities can blend into daily teaching, keeping kids moving and highly motivated. 💪

Move to Learn We wrapped up this successful cycle of international workshops on May 27th by diving into the Move to Learn program. 😁

The day was dedicated to exploring the "Ten Gems for the Brain," a fascinating, step-by-step movement sequence that goes from basic developmental rolling to complex cross-pattern walking.

The session really opened a dialogue on how primitive reflex integration and better postural control directly affect a child's academic journey.

It was the perfect, hands-on conclusion to our series, showing how neurodevelopmental teaching tools can effectively support children facing learning challenges. 💪

The workshop shows how simple, purposeful movement can lay strong foundations for academic success, emotional regulation, and everyday functioning, reminding us that learning truly begins with movement.👍👌🙌

Another chapter of our Learning by Moving journey! 🇬🇷

This time, our journey took us to the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where on May 22nd and 23rd participants stepped into the imaginative world of 👉 Kinetic Theatrical Play.

Participants stepped into the imaginative world of Kinetic Theatrical Play, where movement became the language of communication and creativity.💪

Sessions became a space where physical theatre, creative dance, and free-form improvisation met.

It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved to experiment with non-verbal communication and emotional literacy. Ultimately, the workshop proved that expanding your holistic teaching skills can be an incredibly inspiring and deeply engaging experience.

The workshop highlighted how every movement can become part of a story and every child can become both creator and performer in an engaging learning environment.
