🇺🇦 Ukrainian Team Promotes the “Learning by Moving” Project

In May 2026, the Ukrainian partner actively promoted the Learning by Moving! Innovative and Interdisciplinary Teaching Methods in Preschool and Primary Education project during two international scientific conferences in Ukraine.

Professor Nataliya Sorokolit from 👉 the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture presented the seven innovative teaching methods developed within the project and introduced participants to their practical application in preschool and primary education.
The presentations included educational videos prepared together with international partners and received very positive feedback from participants. 💪

The project was promoted during:
📍 the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Ways to Improve Professional Competencies of Specialists in Today’s Context” (over 150 participants from Ukraine, the USA, and Switzerland),
📍 and the ### International Scientific and Practical Conference “Young Sports Science of Ukraine” (over 40 onsite and 200 online participants).

These events helped us share our project with the international academic and educational community. 👌❤️

On May 7–8, 2026, the “Kinetic Theatrical Play” workshop, led by Professor Katerina Mouratidou from Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, took place at the Faculty of Educational Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. 💪

The workshop focused on body awareness, movement expression, and nonverbal communication in theatrical practice.💃👐

Participants engaged in activities that included movement improvisation, mime, rhythm, and group collaboration.

The workshops were highly practical, allowing participants to enhance their creativity, body awareness, and ability to create stage relationships through movement.

The sessions were held in a friendly and creative atmosphere, fostering the exchange of experiences and the exploration of physical theatre methods used in education and artistic practice. ☺️🪩💚

🇮🇹➡️🇵🇱 From Italy to Poland!

On May 7–8, the Crispiani Method training took place at the Wrocław University of Health and Sport Sciences , bringing together students, PhD candidates, and academic staff for two inspiring days of learning, movement, and professional development.

The training was led by 👉 Eleonora Palmieri and 👉 Piero Crispiani, who introduced participants to the principles and practical applications of the Crispiani Method, creating a space for international exchange, collaboration, and active learning.

mini‑Eduball as a brain warm‑up in action at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań! 🟡🟢🔴🔵🟠 🧠 ✨poznan

On 30 April 2026, we hosted a hands‑on mini‑Eduball workshop at the Faculty of Educational Studies.👐
The session focused on motor‑cognitive training that combines cognitive tasks with purposeful hand movement — a powerful way to activate the brain before more demanding mental work.

Participants explored mini‑Eduball as:
👉 a short brain warm‑up supporting attention and readiness
👉 a tool for individual users and school classes
👉 an example of how movement and thinking work best together

Simple tasks, focused movements, and plenty of engagement showed that stimulating the brain doesn’t start with sitting still — it starts with moving smart.

Move to Learn Method in action 💥

Another inspiring session led by the team from the The Maria Grzegorzewska University, this time as part of the Learning by Moving project — with participants from the University of Warsaw and guests from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences 🙌

What went down?

✨ quick warm-up → full movement sequences
✨ honest check of body control (some wins, some… room for growth 😅)
✨ work on integrating primitive reflexes — simple, but powerful
✨ real-life examples of challenges children face
✨ thoughtful insights from facilitators
✨ lots of questions, discussions, and reflections
✨ and of course… ideas for applying it all in practice

Movement really is a gateway to learning — and we’re just getting started 🚀

Let’s see EDUball/BRAINball in action at Adam Mickiewicz University Poznań! .poznan ⚽✨

On 24 April 2026, the Faculty of Educational Studies hosted a training session on the EDUball/BRAINball method in preschool and primary education – a unique approach combining movement, learning, and innovation. 👌

The training was delivered in two parts:
👉 an engaging online lecture
👉 followed by dynamic, hands-on workshops on site

The sessions were led by Prof. Andrzej Rokita 👉 an internationally recognized expert in movement-based education and co-creator of the EDUball and mini-EDUball methods, successfully applied in preschool and primary education, as well as in lifelong learning and work with older adults.

This innovative approach:
👉 connects physical activity with learning
👉 supports cognitive development through movement
👉 combines education, sport, and creativity
👉 proves that learning can be active, effective, and enjoyable

The training was full of energy, inspiration, and practical ideas, showing just how powerful movement can be in the learning process.

We're not slowing down...
it's all happening! 💪

On Tuesday and Wednesday, April 21st and 22nd respectively, the practical seminar of the method Learning and Moving was successfully implemented at 👉 the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki .

This method was developed by 👉 the University of Warsaw and focuses on the integration of cognitive and motor activities in the learning process.

More specifically, the Learning and Moving method combines

👉 mathematical,
👉 linguistic,
👉 and natural science activities

through movement-based learning.

It shows how children's physical activity can support understanding, explanation, and problem-solving, making it especially suitable for educational practice with students aged 5 to 10.

The participants greatly enjoyed the experience and gained valuable ideas and practical insights that they can apply in their own teaching practice in primary school settings. 🌟

On April 15–16, University of Warsaw conducted

👉 the Learning and Moving

training for students and teachers from .

During the workshop, participants explored how movement can become a powerful teaching tool in subjects often perceived as abstract or difficult — mathematics, science, and physics.

Instead of learning through passive listening, they experienced how concepts such as numbers, patterns, forces, space, rhythm, and relationships can be understood through the body, in action, and in interaction with others. 💪🙌👌

Akademia Pedagogiki Specjalnej im. Marii Grzegorzewskiej – active, inspiring, and full of energy! 🎯

On 12–13 April, the lecture part of the Movement–Coordination–Learning method was held, led by Nataliya Sorokolit and Andrii Mandiuk.
Then, on 26 April, it was time for an energetic practical workshop, conducted by Viktoriia Pasichnyk in cooperation with Nataliya and Andrii.

The Movement–Coordination–Learning method combines movement, coordination, and learning, supporting both physical development and cognitive skills in children aged 5–10.
This innovative approach:
⚽ combines physical exercises with competency-based tasks,
🧠 supports motor, cognitive, and communicative development,
💡 uses light, sound, and sports equipment to increase children’s engagement,
🎨 develops creativity, reflexes, spatial orientation, and cooperation.

The workshops were filled with movement, energy, and a great atmosphere.
We would like to thank all participants for their active involvement and openness to new ways of working with children. 🙌
