Hello,
my name is Przemysław Kyrcz. I am a PADI diving instructor, an above-knee amputee, a BadalX osseointegration implant user, and I also live with multiple sclerosis.
I have been diving since 2006. From my own experience, I know that diving for people after amputations is not about empty slogans or a photo with the word “inspiration” underneath.
It is about practice: equipment, procedures, safety, teamwork, logistics, preparation, and real support.
That is why, through the Marafiki Foundation, we are developing the Underwater Warriors project — an initiative focused on adaptive diving, osseointegration education, and social activation of people after amputations.
We have launched an international fundraiser to allow individuals, companies, organizations, and diving communities outside Poland to support the project.
I will leave the fundraiser link in the first comment.
Every donation, every share, and every time this information is passed on can help us build real support for people after amputations.
Underwater, pretending does not work.
This is where OsseoDiver begins.
